"The Future of Cinematic and Immersive Technology and Entertainment"

Deanan DaSilva is a creative technologist and co-founder of Kuro, a collective specializing in experiential installations and live events built around story, art, and inventive technology. He is best known as the architect of the Big Sky camera system, an 18K, 316-megapixel sensor developed for the Las Vegas Sphere, and previously served as CTO of MSG Sphere Studios. Earlier in his career he was CTO at RED Digital Cinema. He holds both a BA and MA from UC Berkeley in architecture, design, photography, and film.

Dominic Glynn is a senior scientist and imaging & audio specialist at Pixar Animation Studios. Over his 20-year career there, he has worked on over 20 feature films, bridging emerging technology with storytelling. His groundbreaking work includes helping launch the first Dolby Atmos and Dolby Cinema releases.

Ellis Monk is a professor of sociology at Harvard University whose research focuses on race, ethnicity, and social inequality from a comparative global perspective. He holds a PhD from UC Berkeley and a BA from the University of Michigan.

Emma Alexander is an assistant professor of computer science at Northwestern University. Her focus includes low-level, bio-inspired, physics-based computer vision. She believes that greater understanding of animals' brains and behavior can inspire new technology, particularly in the imaging and image processing domains. Alexander has a PhD in Computer Science from Harvard University.

Boyd Fowler is a veteran image sensor technologist and current CTO of Bharat Semi. He holds a PhD in electrical engineering from Stanford University and has spent decades at the forefront of imaging technology, including serving as CTO at both OmniVision Technologies and Fairchild Imaging, as well as a technical program manager at Google. His expertise spans CMOS image sensor design, system architecture, and technology strategy.
